t is a variant of In Vitro Fertilization, meaning “Receiving eggs from the couple”, is an alternative for couples of women that gives them the power to be mothers being this method one of the safest and most effective.

Who is ROPA Method for?

The ROPA method is designed for women who are same-sex couples, who want to have a child, being a fundamental part of both in the process of birth of their baby.

What is the ROPA Method?

The procedure consists of extracting and fertilizing the oocytes of one of the members of the couple and then implanting the embryo obtained in the couple’s uterus, one becoming the biological mother and the other the pregnant mother.

PROCEDURE

Ovarian Stimulation: The so-called genetic mother undergoes a process that stimulates the maturation of more than one egg, so that the chances of success increase.

Endometrial preparation: Parallel to the ovarian stimulation, the other woman in the couple (pregnant mother) undergoes a treatment, also hormonal, to promote the growth of the endometrium.

Fertilization of the oocytes: This is carried out with the sperm of a donor.

Control of the embryos: It is carried out in the laboratory and left in culture for a few days to see their evolution, until they are transferred to the pregnant mother.
